James is responsible for the marketing and expansion of Ao Skincare’s products into the US marketplace. Ao’s transformational products make up a class-leading skincare range unlike any other; combining the very best of science and nature, Ao’s story is deep-rooted in New Zealand.
During the early years of his career in the creative industry, James worked under a number of iconic Creatives. At 27, James did what most driven people do in the advertising business; start their own company. Beginning from nothing, James quickly grew the award-winning business into a successful agency that’s managed to carve a unique niche in the New Zealand marketplace.
Since then, James has started and grown a number of successful businesses and consulted to many.
James holds a MBA from Southern Cross University in NSW, Australia. He also sits on two not-for-profit boards, Macular Degeneration New Zealand and the Upside Downs Education Trust. His advertising agency provides approximately 15% business capacity to not-for-profit organisations as pro-bono work.
