Cheeky skincare production companies can fool us no more - with the rise of Internet and our obsession with beauty bloggers, the public now knows what's what even more so than the professionals sometimes. Another fabulous trend we are experiencing is the desire for natural-based skincare which is better for us and for the environment. We live in a world where more and more people opt for "green" and holistic products, not tested on animals... hooray! Maybe someday we can declare a war to toxic goods (any category, from beauty to foods), until now enjoy this article to educate yourself even further on toxic skin care ingredients.

Technologies such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) are commonly used for wrinkle reduction, and of course there’s a place for lasers in tattoo removal. This suggests a philosophy of aggressive intervention rather than the approach we generally prefer, which is to promote homeostasis, i.e. the skin’s natural ability to maintain itself.
