Keratin in Skin Care Products

Keratin in Skin Care Products

We include keratin in some of our products. This natural structural protein is extracted from New Zealand wool. It is almost identical to human keratin, which is vital to optimum skin health. The Dermatology Review has a good piece on how it works.

"When it comes to skin care, keratin treatment is thought to be anti-aging in nature, and may help those people who are at a time in their life when rejuvenating aging skin is their main skincare concern"

While keratin has been used in skin and hair care products over the years, we use a unique form of keratin extracted from New Zealand wool. It helps to repair and protect the skin.

We think keratin is going to be a big ingredient in skin care going forward.
